Alice Peterson, President of Syrus Global, will speak to participants at the General Audit Management conference on March 18, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Peterson's remarks are directed to chief audit executives (CAE's), directors, audit committee members, and financial and executive management. "How the CAE Supports the Audit Committee in Achieving a Sustainable Good Governance Environment" will be an interactive double session. The content of the presentation and discussion will cover how the audit committee can best work with internal audit and external audit to be a catalyst for improving risk management and oversight. Peterson will emphasize the importance of a culture of integrity. Building the desired culture requires not only strong controls, but also leadership, values, rules, education, a high-quality confidential reporting program, a follow-up and a top-down risk management process, and periodic assessments and surveys.

Rick Julien, a senior partner at Crowe Chizek, will join Peterson for the talk.
